Scott or Scottland, as his parents actually named him (who names their kid after a country?!), became the Lead Pastor at International in February 2016. He and his Australian wife, Fiona, came with a full array of ministry experience and training. They have four wonderful daughters: Olivia, Megan, Emmalyn, and Audrey. Scott holds degrees from Denver Seminary and The University of Tampa. He loves sports, reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Scott’s greatest passion in life is to connect people with the life-changing power of the Gospel.

Dennis is originally from Napa, California. He met his wife Vivian whose roots are in Pearl City, while they were both serving in the Philippines as missionaries. They returned from that mission field to serve in Hawaii. Dennis calls himself the “Swiss Army Knife” pastor as he has worn many hats since he began at International in 1996. They are blessed with two children, Hannah and Josiah. Dennis graduated from Cal Poly State University in San Luis Obispo and International College and Graduate School. He loves to participate in and watch different sports. He and Scott share passions for the Nebraska Cornhuskers football team as well as seeing people come to faith in Christ and experiencing life as God intended.

A local girl raised on the windward side of Oahu in Kaneohe and in Upcountry Maui on Ulupalakua Ranch. Gwen comes to International after 30 years of working in the healthcare industry. She is married to J and they have a son (Maui) and a granddaughter Jordyn. Gwen loves connecting & bridging people to one another by building authentic relationships that encourage and engage the life and love of Christ. Gwen enjoys supporting local eateries, hanging at the beach, travel, worship hula, and singing.

Josh and Tracie grew up in Indiana but have spent over five years in Hawai’i as school teachers. Josh served with the Marines for several years before moving into business and finally settling in education. His father has been a High School Band Director for decades, so Josh grew up singing and playing instruments. He began serving as International’s Worship Director in July 2019. Tracie has been a teacher for many years and currently serves at Kamehameha Schools. She has a great eye for design and enjoys crafting. Josh and Tracie love being with people, enjoying movies, hiking, and ocean diving. (Josh is also a certified dive instructor.) You’ll find often find them on a mountain or in the ocean.

Arnold and Chizuko Shibuya joined our congregation in 2010 after moving to Oahu from California. They serve on the communion committee together and Arnold with the ushers. Arnold serves as church treasurer and bookkeeper.  They have both served previously in Bible Study Fellowship and are members of The Gideons International.
